designs inspired by tradition
These are the original sketches prepared for the restaurant, at the earliest inception phase of the assignment. We have anticipated borrowing the aesthetics of the boat-building tradition of the fishing village of Terengganu, and we are pleased to have been able to retain this reference throughout the project.
These are the most recent images of the duyong restaurant at the newly opened Heritage Bay Clubhouse in Terangganu, East Coast of Malaysia, designed by zlgdesign. Serving probably the best coffee in this part of Malaysia, the restaurant is part of the very nice resort enclave of Pulau Duyong, a heritage development site comprising Heritage Bay Club house and Chalets, about fifteen minutes from the city airport.
